Seasonal Front Office Officers

Sansui Niseko is a luxury hotel located in the beautiful ski resort destination of Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan.

We are currently seeking a Front Office Officer to join our team.

The primary responsibilities of this role include handling guest check-in and check-out procedures, providing in-house information, responding to guest requests, and delivering concierge services to support guests throughout their stay.

Candidates with experience in front office operations, concierge services, or bell attendant roles are especially welcome.

We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering attentive, detail-oriented, and high-quality hospitality service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all front office operations.
  • Perform front desk, concierge, and bell attendant duties as required.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures, including cashier responsibilities.
  • Deliver high-quality hospitality service through attentive and courteous guest interactions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide general assistance and support throughout their stay.
  • Ensure workplace safety and contribute to maintaining a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations through effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide guest transportation services within the Niseko-Hirafu area and surrounding locations as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Rooms Division within the hotel industry (Front Office, Concierge, Bell, etc.) is preferred.
  • A responsible and sincere individual who values attention to detail and consistently provides thoughtful guest service.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively and adapt flexibly to changing operational needs.
  • Possess strong business etiquette and a high level of hospitality awareness.
  • Respects Japanese service culture and values, and is able to provide flexible, high-quality service according to guest needs and situations.
  • A valid driver’s license capable of operating vehicles for guest transportation is preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with hotel property management systems such as OPERA is required or highly preferred.
  • Business-level English proficiency, along with strong communication skills in either Japanese or Chinese.

Employment Conditions

  • Winter Seasonal Position (approximately November 2026 to March 31, 2027)
  • Hourly Wage: From ¥1,500 per hour and above (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
  • Shift-Based Schedule: Average of 40 working hours per week
