Seasonal Door Attendant & Shuttle Driver
Sansui Niseko is a luxury hotel located in the beautiful ski resort destination of Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan.
We are currently seeking a Door Attendant & Shuttle Driver to join our team.
The primary responsibilities of this role include providing transportation services for guests within the Niseko-Hirafu area and ensuring that all shuttle vehicles are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable condition at all times.
We welcome applicants with extensive driving experience, particularly those who are confident in driving during winter conditions and experienced in navigating snowy and icy roads.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide guest transportation services between the hotel, ski resort facilities, the Hirafu Welcome Center, and designated pickup/drop-off locations within the Niseko-Hirafu area.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office staff and Managers to operate transportation services according to scheduled routes and respond flexibly to special transportation requests.
- Assist with the loading, unloading, handling, and management of guest luggage to ensure smooth and comfortable arrivals and departures.
- Conduct regular cleaning and inspections of shuttle vehicles to maintain safe, clean, and comfortable operating conditions.
- Report any vehicle issues, maintenance requirements, or safety concerns to Management and the Maintenance team in a timely manner.
- Operate employee shuttle services and perform related transportation duties as required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a shuttle driver in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment preferred.
- A hospitality-focused individual who can consistently provide courteous, professional, and attentive service while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor with guests.
- Experience driving in winter conditions, including snowy and icy roads, is highly desirable. Experience operating luxury vehicles is also an advantage.
- Committed to safe-driving practices, with a strong sense of responsibility for time management, vehicle cleanliness, and routine vehicle inspections
- Able to work closely with the Front Office and other departments, responding efficiently and professionally to last-minute requests and schedule changes.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must hold a driver’s license that permits the operation of passenger vehicles with up to 10 seats in Japan (including an International Driving Permit, where applicable).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments.
Employment Conditions
- Winter Seasonal Position (approximately November 2026 to March 31, 2027)
- Hourly Wage: From ¥1,600 per hour and above (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
- Shift-Based Schedule: Average of 40 working hours per week
