Seasonal Snow Clearing Staff
Sansui Niseko is a luxury hotel located in the beautiful ski resort destination of Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan.
We are currently seeking Snow Cleaning Staff to join our team.
The primary responsibilities of this role include snow removal across the hotel premises and surrounding areas based on snowfall conditions, ensuring safety and accessibility throughout the property, as well as inspecting and maintaining snow removal equipment. This position plays a key role in supporting a safe and comfortable environment during the winter season.
We welcome candidates with experience operating snow removal machinery, performing manual snow clearing work, and carrying out basic equipment maintenance. We are looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, responsible, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain a secure and comfortable environment for both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform snow removal operations across the hotel premises and related facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of snow removal equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to management.
- Provide support for the maintenance of snow removal machinery and related equipment when required.
- Collect, transport, and manage general waste generated from the hotel and related facilities, including related cleaning and organization duties.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment at all times.
- Contribute as a team member to initiatives aimed at improving overall guest satisfaction.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in equipment or machinery maintenance is preferred.
- Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in challenging winter conditions.
- Motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to performing duties with integrity and care.
- A team player who can adapt to flexible work schedules and operational needs.
- Possess basic business etiquette and professional conduct, with a strong focus on safety awareness in all tasks.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Strong safety awareness and the ability to strictly follow rules, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Employment Conditions
- Winter Seasonal Position (approximately November 2026 to March 31, 2027)
- Hourly Wage: From ¥1,500 per hour and above (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
- Shift-Based Schedule: Average of 40 working hours per week
